DMAA Orientation

The DMAA Orientation night is on Wednesday, May 30th at 7pm in room 904 at El Dorado. This is an orientation for both parents and students.

The purpose of the orientation is to introduce you to the El Dorado instructors, explain the Academy, it's programs and schedules in detail, answer any questions you might have, and get to know each other.

If you have any specific questions about the DMAA that need answering before the May 30th meeting, please contact the following EDHS instructors or staff:

2012 El Dorado Film Challenge

On Saturday, April 28th, the 2012 El Dorado Film Challenge brought together 30 young filmmakers in a full day event to write, cast, film, edit and screen short films. 2012 Newport Beach Film Festival

Congratulations to EDHS Advanced Video Production seniors Ryan Dayhoff and Libby Blood and EDHS Animation students Kevin Lee and Nathalie Davis. Their films "Game of Inches", "Team Crash", "Lucy", "James" and "Devon the Mediocre Vampire" were part of the 2012 Newport Beach International Film Festival. El Dorado Digital Arts students accounted for 5 of the 15 films screened in the first student showcase. Links to these films can be found below.
